Prepare a support triage queue

Turn a small batch of support messages into a proposed queue with reasons, missing information and draft replies.

These are illustrative workflows, not live demos or verified customer results. Sample outputs are invented examples, not measured outcomes. Tool access depends on your setup and permissions; review every draft before acting.

Prerequisites and access

Provide redacted ticket text, ticket IDs and your escalation policy. Use only tickets you are allowed to access; do not include credentials or payment details.

Workflow

  1. Supply ticket excerpts and priority rules.
  2. Ask for a suggested category, priority and source for each ticket.
  3. Review urgency and route tickets yourself before sending a reply.

Sample prompt

Using only these redacted tickets and our priority rules, propose a triage table: ID, category, suggested priority, evidence and next question. Flag uncertainty. Draft replies separately. Do not update tickets or send messages.

Illustrative output — not a live result

Fictional example: T-001 | Access | Priority needs review | Customer reports being unable to sign in | Ask when the issue started. Draft: ‘Could you share the error message, without passwords?’ No ticket has been changed.

Human review

Check source references, sensitive details and policy compliance. A person decides what to send or change; the draft is not an approval.

Frequently asked questions

Can this decide which tickets are urgent?
It can propose priorities from your rules. A support owner must check security incidents, customer impact and any ambiguous cases before routing them.
Will Upchat take action automatically?
These prompts ask only for analysis and drafts. Check facts, recipients and permissions yourself, and explicitly approve any later send, update or other external action.
